Featured Blogger: Kim
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm a Christian woman who is addictied to scrapbooking, stamping, and
card making. I've been married to my best friend for almost 14 years.
Together, we have six amazing nieces and nephews. They are my inspiration. I'm also a third grade teacher trying to inspire little ones.
How long have you been a paper crafter?
I began scrapping in 2000 when my youngest niece was born. I've been making cards for a year now.
What do you consider your strengths?
Obviously, scrapping is my strength. Using sketches is one of my favorite ways to scrap. I can always create wonderful pages with a great sketch.I love being a part of all my design teams, I think this keeps me fresh and focused.
Your weaknesses?
Shopping, I can never just get what I need. I always seem to add to my collection
What is your favorite paper craft technique?
My favorite would probably have to be using inks to distress my edges. I ink everything!
What inspires you the most?
My nieces and nephews inspire me everyday. I can just look at them and I'm ready for a page.
Kim has a ton of gorgeous artwork on her blog. I don't know, maybe it's because distressing is my favorite technique, and Kim distresses everything, but every piece of artwork she posts is beautiful! Her blog is called "Memories in Thyme". Here is just a sampling of what you'll find:
Don't forget, you can easily submit blogs using the submission form here. Or send an email to papercraftorium @gmail.com. We also welcome reader tips and tricks! Tutorials as well!

I have been scrapping and making cards since 2002. I love the creativity of it and knowing that there is no right or wrong. I get my inspiration from so many talented people. I work at Michael's in the framing Dept. It is a pretty fun job. My family and I moved to Wisconsin from San Diego in 2004. I have 2 beautiful girls. Liz who is 21 and Rebekah who is 19. I have been married for 24 years to a wonderful guy, Richard. I sell the cards I make. I love to make scrapbooks as gifts. I have made wedding, road trip and friendship albums.

I am a scrapbook fanatic who squeezes in creative time during my daughter's nap. I love to post layouts of their sweet faces, as well as share links, ideas, other blogs, and a laugh or too.
