Featured Blogger: Kim

Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I'm a Christian woman who is addictied to scrapbooking, stamping, and
card making. I've been married to my best friend for almost 14 years.
Together, we have six amazing nieces and nephews. They are my inspiration. I'm also a third grade teacher trying to inspire little ones.

How long have you been a paper crafter?
I began scrapping in 2000 when my youngest niece was born. I've been making cards for a year now.

What do you consider your strengths?
Obviously, scrapping is my strength. Using sketches is one of my favorite ways to scrap. I can always create wonderful pages with a great sketch.I love being a part of all my design teams, I think this keeps me fresh and focused.

Your weaknesses?
Shopping, I can never just get what I need. I always seem to add to my collection

What is your favorite paper craft technique?
My favorite would probably have to be using inks to distress my edges. I ink everything!

What inspires you the most?
My nieces and nephews inspire me everyday. I can just look at them and I'm ready for a page.

*** Notes from the Paper Craftorium Team ***

Kim has a ton of gorgeous artwork on her blog. I don't know, maybe it's because distressing is my favorite technique, and Kim distresses everything, but every piece of artwork she posts is beautiful! Her blog is called "Memories in Thyme". Here is just a sampling of what you'll find:

{ And that's not all!!!! She's got layouts and albums too!!! }

Stop by and give Kim a visit! Tell her we sent you!

A Cottage To Visit

Well let me say I apologize  to Tammy for this crazy disappearing post... I am not sure where the post went and why other posts came on before the scheduled time.
I was thrilled when I found Tammy's - The Stampers Cottage. It is such a peaceful place to stop and look around. Cheerful and very inviting.
Look at this album here I would give anything to own this. I just loved this album here that she made.

You will want to go and check out the rest of her calendar right here.
I also have to share that Tammy is a Close to My Heart consultant...you can visit her web-site here just in case you have something you might need, or want to check out the new products. You do know there is a new catalog out right now?
So please venture over to The Stampers Cottage and tell Tammy we sent you.
